Geno Malkin to Miss Tonight's Game

According to Rob Rossi, Evgeni Malkin will miss tonight's game at Columbus:

"Evgeni Malkin will not play tonight at Columbus, missing his second game of the season.

Malkin, who practiced this morning at Nationwide Arena, continues to be bothered by a sore knee. He has worn a brace on that knee for about a month, and that injury is believed to the one re-aggravated on Thursday night during a home win against Atlanta."

I think this is a good move. This is speculation, but I have a feeling he could play if he had to. But why risk and why not give him two extra days to rest up for New Jersey on Monday?
